An Evaluation of Peace Building Strategies in Southwestern Nigeria: Quantitative and Qualitative Examples

This paper evaluated the peace building architecture by United Nations using Southwestern Nigeria as a reference point. Quantitative data were generated from responses to questionnaire. In addition, qualitative gathered two sources: interview response and theme coding of Focus Group Discussion. Data collected analysed frequency, percentage, mean value standard deviation well content analysis methods. From descriptive statistics, this found out that quick intervention, cross-examination, negotiation, mediation differences be key strategies adopted for enhancement peaceful co-existence in local communities within Nigeria. spite those good remarks, poor nature ethnic cooperation underlines causal reason incessant communal conflicts It therefore concluded evidently operationalised with observable inconsistencies data.
